Rich created Country Cabinets over 30 years ago in 1976. He started the business after
an eleven year stint in education (the last 5 years as an elementary school principal). Since the company's early years,
when Rich built cabinets and furniture in the basement of his home, the business has grown to its present 6,000 square foot
location on East Conway Road in North Conway, NH
Rich and his wife, Joy, live
in Hales Location, NH. They have two grown daughters, Kim & Carrie. They also have three grandchildren; Ryan, Alex, and
Sophie. He enjoys time in his gardens and golfing when time permits.
As a kitchen
designer, Rich prides himself as being not just a designer, but also a creative problem solver for his clients. His design
work has been published in national magazines such as Builder, and Timber Homes Illustrated. His creativity and problem solving
expertise is well known throughout the valley.
As owner, Rich oversees and is
involved in all kitchens, baths, etc., created at Country Cabinets. Whether he comes to your home to do a site measure, or
collaborates with other designers, he has a hand in every project from design to installation. Come visit our showroom and
see how he can help turn your dream kitchen into reality.
CARRIE: Vice President/Designer

Carrie was recruited in 1997 to learn the design trade from her father, Rich Check.
With her natural artistic abilities & eye for color she quickly became an extremely talented designer. Her customers praise
her for her patience and creativity as well as her ability to work with challenging rooms. She is always available to offer
suggestions and share her knowledge. Some of her design work has been published in national publications such as Accent Magazine,
and Signature Kitchen and Baths.
Carrie, her husband Corey, and their dog Brody,
live in Conway, NH. They enjoy snowmobiling in the winter, and "Jeeping" in the summer. They also enjoy spending
time at their camp in Errol, NH. Carrie's hobbies include crafts, photography, reading, and working in her garden.

Lisa became a designer here at Country Cabinets, etc. in 2007. Coming from a background
in accounting and building trades, she brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her position. Lisa's clients have acknowledged
her for making the design process not only educational, but fun and easy.
Lisa
has been a resident of the Mount Washington Valley area since 1992 . She takes great pride in her three grown children. In
her spare time she enjoys golfing, cooking, and her artwork.

Toby brings a unique background to our installation team. After high school, Toby worked
his way up to executive chef in some of the finest restaurants in the Mount Washington Valley, in Florida, and in Colorado.
Along with cooking, Toby was honing his skills in green building and fine woodworking, deciding to follow in the footsteps
of his father, a master carpenter; he eventually became self-employed in the home construction field.
We think that his decision to combine his fine woodworking skills with installing kitchens is very
fitting and a win-win situation for Toby, Country Cabinets, and our customers!
Toby
and his wife, Amy, along with their two children, live in Center Conway. He loves the outdoors and in his leisure time can
be found hiking, skiing, or fly fishing (his favorite).
BRODIE: Showroom Greeter (In Training)

Brodie is the newest (non human) member to join Country Cabinets. Carrie, his mom, has been introducing him to so many interesting things here at Country Cabinets. He is so curious
about everything and is learning so fast, he lets his mom know when he has "to go" by leading her to the door. He
is already in competition with Carrie's door stops (I think the door stops are winning). He is a very fun addition to
Country Cabinets. I am sure there are many adventures to come.
CC: Resident Showroom Cat

As one of the official greeters for the Country Cabinets showroom, CC is
an outstanding asset to the company. With her friendly purr and her desire to curl up in soft warm places she fulfills her
responsibilities without complaint. She loves everyone, even those allergic, so please let us know if you have a cat allergy
and she will gladly retire to Joy's office (where her treats are) while you visit.
